Thank you again to everyone who submitted their articles for the LifeEdit.net Carnival of Life Editing #4! I am happy to see some "repeat submitters", but I would like to (again) clarify the rules of this carnival:

1. Submissions must include a category to be accepted
   
2. Submissions must be even slightly relevant to the categories and LifeEdit.net's content

Unfortunately, I had to decline about 8 submissions because they did not meet the above two criteria. There are a lot of submissions that fall into those problems, which is unfortunate as it is outlined clearly in the submission guidelines as well as the blogcarnival.com page itself.

That being said, I will be closely reviewing all submissions for the Carnival of Life Editing up until the new year. If I find that things might be better off without the carnival, we'll look to change things up in the new year.

November has been an exciting time for LifeEdit.net, and I will have a lot to say on the subject when the end of the month arrives. In addition to the new recipe category that will be updated every Sunday, I have decided to host a carnival in hopes of pointing LifeEdit.net readers to other helpful articles related to this blog's content. I have seen some great success from carnivals I have entered and have also found some fantastic sites through these links, and I wanted to see if LifeEdit.net could be a part of the same experience for other bloggers.

LifeEdit.net's carnival will be posted every Saturday, and its purpose is to showcase a variety of posts related to the content of this site. I will make every effort to include all posts that follow the guidelines of the carnival, though from time to time I may be unable to accommodate all of the posts.

I will be setting up the carnival through Blog Carnival and the carnival will be called "The Carnival of Life Editing". The Blog Carnival website recommends having a submission guideline post, and the rules for the Carnival of Life Editing are below:

1. Submissions must be related and linked to one of the following categories or they will not be accepted: food, home, lifestyle, money, working, recipes.
2. Submissions are due by Friday at 6pm Eastern Standard Time every week. Submissions sent after this time may be included in the next carnival.
3. Submissions must come from a generally related blog or site (covering at least one of the topics on a regular basis) and cannot consist of spam, hate messages or other not-so-nice elements.
4. Only ONE post per blog will be accepted into each week's carnival. Please ensure that you link to the individual post, not a category or the front page to your site.
   
5. If you would like to enter a post into the carnival, please use the submission form on Blog Carnival or send an email, including the name of your post and blog, the URL of your post, a description of the post and the name you would like to be referenced as (if any).
