Why Should You Support LifeEdit.net?

This is the first and only time I will make a post regarding any advertising or donations requests as displayed by LifeEdit.net. Many "Get Paid to Blog" information sites strongly recommend against advertising from the very beginning; their logic suggests waiting for your reader base to increase and then adding the hopefully money-making elements at that point. Some information sites are in favour of placing advertisements on from the beginning, and some sit in the middle of the issue.
The reason I have chosen to have advertisements on my site from the very conception of LifeEdit.net is because I have no intention of misleading people or losing readership if and when I were to add sponsors at a later time. The current layout of this blog is essentially how this blog will remain until such a time as it absolutely needs to change; if people are OK with the sponsorship (which, in my opinion, is pretty subtle and well-integrated) then they will continue to read for the value of my content. If someone chooses not to read based on the advertisements, I would rather he or she make that decision now then potentially lose a reader because LifeEdit.net has "changed" or "sold out".
I have chosen my advertisements and sponsors carefully - Google Adsense is highly integrable and I can customize it according to my site specifications; in fact, I have a referral button located in the sidebar because I do feel strongly about Adsense's ability to provide targeted ad content that is of high quality and of relevance to my site topics. In addition to Adsense, I use an Amazon astore (LifeEdit Recommends) in which I add specific products available from Amazon.com that are relevant and useful to my readers as based on the content of my blog. Similar to Adsense, I can customize my astore widget to blend into my site seamlessly and unobtrusively.
I also, on occasion, will post reviews of products and services as laid out by paid-blogging sites; however, I will only review content that is relevant to my site and I have turned down numerous opportunities because the content was either irrelevant or completely unrelated to LifeEdit.net. While I may consider additional advertising techniques in the future, rest assured that my criteria will remain just as stringent.
The only other money-making opportunity on this site is my request for donations. While I would love to turn blogging into a full-time job (in fact, it is my goal), I am aware that this reality is far in the future and would much rather spend my time and energy promoting well-written and important articles that relate to your interests and your life. Because of this, I have included a donation option as merely a portion of how you can support LifeEdit.net; your comments, suggestions, advice and questions will help make this site better and they are just as important as monetary support (if not more important).
If you do find value in LifeEdit.net and you would like to make a monetary donation, I would really appreciate it. What benefit would occur from your clicking that little yellow button?
Above all, continue to provide your support by being interactive; add LifeEdit.net to your blogroll, subscribe to its feed, tell your friends, ask questions, make post suggestions and above all, use it as it was meant to be used - to improve your life and the lives of others you know.

- You will help me get closer to a full-time blogging career, which would allow me to make more posts, spend more time developing relevant content, and overall creating a more interactive and supportive site.
- You will help to increase a fellow person's net worth and help her family achieve their goal of living a debt-free, sustainable life.
- You will help keep the 95% Content/5% Advertising balance of LifeEdit.net (but rest assured that I will never unnecessarily fill this site with advertising regardless of the income I make)
- You will be supporting the idea of promoting a frugal, organized, productive and happy family life.
Above all, continue to provide your support by being interactive; add LifeEdit.net to your blogroll, subscribe to its feed, tell your friends, ask questions, make post suggestions and above all, use it as it was meant to be used - to improve your life and the lives of others you know.
